We also offer a selection of workshop experiences for those students aged 18-25 (approximately). These are available for those students who still need support in activities of daily living and those that need to further develop practical and independence skills.
We offer a variety of experiences for young women which include: sewing, art activities, cooking and printing. For young men we offer carpentry, gardening and printing. These experiences are not exhaustive and are being added to, and changed, following evaluation of their suitability for the young people. The young people are involved in the production of goods that can be potentially sold to generate income for the Centre.
Opportunities are always sought to enable the young people to gain employment outside of the Center, should the young person be deemed to be suitable for paid work.
