Types of special needs vary in severity. People with autism, Down syndrome, dyslexia, blindness, ADHD, or cystic fibrosis, for example, may be considered to have special needs. However, special needs can also include cleft lips, or missing limbs.

We are a non-profit organization. Our goal is to provide every individual with special needs the support, friendship and inclusion that they deserve.

The Rashid Centre provides a uniquely integrated Education for Life for children and young people with special needs. A highly skilled merging of therapy and education enables the teaching and learning of life skills and academic subjects on an all day, every day, basis. Our innovative education is tailor made to meet the needs of each individual.

To provide an Integrated Therapy and Educational Service for all children and young people with special abilities and challenges within the UAE and further afield.
To provide all the therapeutic and educational support they need so their own determination results in active engagement in daily life and participation in their communities.
