Services

The whole child, family and life approach Therapy services under Early intervention are offered for children from 0-5 years covering Speech and language therapy , Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy. At 3 years there will be the opportunity to enter the school in our early years curriculum if appropriate or continuation of early intervention type therapy. In our therapy sessions we focus on helping the child and the family because we recognize the vital role of families in helping children learn. Parents and carers are included in therapy sessions with clear advice given for home activities. Sessions focus on your child’s key needs which may be communication, movement, play, hand skills, eating and drinking or all of these in combination. Our sessions are playful and fun as your child’s motivation and enjoyment is important for their learning. Sessions normally last between 45 minutes to 1 hour and the number of sessions will be agreed with you depending on the needs of your child. Whilst therapists have expertise in their own speciality they also share knowledge and skills in line with the whole child approach.
