The “Rashid Lounge” project is an integrated training café aimed at empowering and preparing students through a hands-on experience that simulates a real work environment. The project focuses on developing both professional and life skills, where students are trained in professional coffee preparation, customer service, and sales and purchasing skills, enhancing their confidence and independence.
The project also includes a cooking workshop, where students learn to prepare a variety of baked goods, sandwiches, and different types of cakes, which are then offered and sold it in the café. This integration of training and production allows students to apply what they have learned directly, giving them real-world experience and helping prepare them for the job market while opening new opportunities for their future.
