Rashid Centre’s journey began over three decades ago, driven by the pressing need for quality education and training for individuals with disabilities in an era where such resources were scarce. Serving as a beacon of hope to the community, Rashid Centre continues to proudly fulfill this role, guided by international policies and legislation.
With our ongoing expansion and unwavering commitment, our centre offers an inclusive and supportive environment, reminiscent of mainstream schooling, while also providing outstanding specialist support tailored to students with various conditions such as Neurodiversity, Cerebral Palsy, Learning and Global Developmental Delays, Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and associated communication and language needs.
At Rashid Centre, we firmly believe that “No Child Is Left Behind” and that differences should never impede success. Through proactive identification of barriers and dynamic action, we strive to eliminate obstacles hindering our students' progress. Our primary objective is to challenge traditional perceptions of special education for Determined students by delivering a holistic educational journey for individuals aged three to eighteen, complemented by vocational experiences for those aged eighteen and above.
Through the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies, we have expanded the scope of our services to foster independence and inclusivity for our students. Our curriculum is tailored to be well-rounded, personalized, and expertly supported, encompassing sports, technology, arts, and life skills, all integral components of our enrichment activities.
